Jutial Valley Hike

L-R: Me, Baqi, Aaron, Jenni, Korine, Sophie, & Ian

I hiked up the Jutial Valley on three separate occasions. You can see this valley directly behind the Horizon Guest House where I stayed. It is a good hike, and the view from the trees is absolutely breath taking! Each time we hiked it, I wished I could see those mountains in Gilgit just as well as I could from above! These pictures are a mixture of all three hikes combined...

Jutial Valley in the distance.

Villager walking up the valley.

Aaron filtering water from the creek.

A little further up the trail.

Resting a bit: Me, Sophie, Korine, and Baqi.

I enjoyed sitting on that rock for a couple hours just praying and singing.

Aaron and Jenni said this is how I looked the entire time!

We hiked up to these trees, ate our lunch of PB and japatti or naan.

This was the view from were we sat...you can barely see Mt Rakaposhi (25,551 ft elevation) in the background coming through the clouds.

Jenni and I hanging out together. I spent a lot of the day just reading my Bible, writing in my journal, and praying. I LOVE going out in nature to spend time with GOD!

I love waterfalls...no matter their size!

Posing.

Aaron and I sitting on a stone bridge that we crossed.

Another bridge...only this one was wooden.

Enjoying the shade in a small 'cave'.

FREEDOM!!!

The END!

...well, the end of the hike, not the end of my trip! More pictures to follow...
