Pakistani trucks

These trucks are everywhere, and every one are decorated!! They buy a brand new truck and take the entire thing apart, piece by piece; repaint each part; and then put it back together! Sometimes they throw the new doors away and replace them with their own hand-carved, custom-made doors! It would seem that they compete with each other with whose truck is the best...each one is so specifically detailed. Also, the more the accessories the better!! The outside as well as inside is decorated with as much color, frills, and bells!! Outside the vehicle are chains with bells dangling, pinwheels, flowers, etc.

Not only were these flatbed and dump trucks decorated, but the tankers, tractors, motorcycles, bicycles, rickshaws, and most every other mode of transportation are decorated just like this!

They are not very aerodynamic!

Notice the eyes painted inside the lights...it is to ward off the evil eye.

A truck at night.

One of these trucks at night. Though it is very hard to tell in this video, these trucks look like a Christmas tree at night! They are all decorated with flashing lights of every color! The lights, plus the jingling of bells make these trucks quite the spectacle. I never tired of looking at those trucks! I thought they were pretty cool.
