I taught on topics such as: Blood Pressure, Water-born illnesses, Emergent situations, Lice, Pregnancy, Nutrition, etc. each Friday. I would also gather any questions the girls had during the week, and come prepared to give answers to their questions on that day. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed teaching!! It was one of the great surprises that I learned about myself.

Working at CICD
Here are a few of the things I had the opportunity to do while in Pakistan: (I left out the gruesome pictures I took of sores, infections, etc.)
I had the wonderful opportunity to read I Corinthians 13 to the staff of the Blind School and CICD. It was amazing to share God's love to them!
Almost every day I would be asked to check the staff's blood pressure! I also taught on Blood Pressure and taught the staff to take each others blood pressures and get accurate readings! They thought after that BP lecture that they were the smartest people in Gilgit! They were SO excited for more insight into BP--what it is and how it works!

Hostel mom's that I taught.
