HAITI

A few days after coming back from Uganda I was talking with mom about the next place to go for missions. I mentioned that I would love to go to Haiti and help some of the missionaries there. I had friends in that country, and thought that if God wanted me to go to Haiti, they would contact me. That same evening I had a message waiting for me from Danae asking when I was coming to Haiti! The following day I was talking to my dad about my Uganda trip. He asked me where I would like to go next. When I mentioned Haiti, he immediately said that if I even had an opportunity to go I should jump at it! Talk about surprised! Seemed like GOD was saying....HAITI...yes, that is the next place.

That was 6 months ago....now, God's perfect time is here...I leave for Port au Prince Sunday, February 13th.

AQUIN

I will be staying at Passe Bois d'Orme, Aquin with Lee and Danae Swihart, missionaries with Water For Life. I will be assisting the Swihart's and other missionaries in any way that I can during my month visit. I will also be using my nursing skills as the needs arise--it sounds like those skills will be needed frequently. Thanks to everyone who donated medical supplies or $ for medicines for this trip.
